Diamond-certified alternative rock outfit Evanescence appear ready to usher in their next era of music. The band shared a cryptic teaser across social media today, April 3rd, featuring a brief snippet of what sounds like a new song alongside the phrase “Who Will You Follow.”
The clip confirms that a full reveal is scheduled for next Friday, April 10th, strongly suggesting new material — and possibly the first official preview of their long-rumored upcoming album.
Talk of a sixth studio album has circulated for months. During a December interview with KROQ, vocalist Amy Lee revealed that the band were actively working toward a 2026 release and that she was in the process of completing lyrics at the time.
Since then, the group have released several collaborations tied to film and soundtrack projects, but have yet to issue a proper standalone single from their next record cycle. Their most recent full-length remains ‘The Bitter Truth’, which arrived in 2021.
With the countdown now underway, fans won’t have to wait long to find out what Evanescence have planned next.
