Mattie Montgomery, former frontman of For Today, appears on Irae’s newly released EP Tetelestai. The self-proclaimed American Christcore outfit tapped Montgomery for a guest spot on the crushing track “7 Horns, 7 Eyes, 7 Seals”, which is now available for streaming below.
Also featured on the EP is Shawn Jonas of Symphony In Peril, who lends his vocals to the title track “Tetelestai”.

Jacob Capra they don’t preach at their shows and spend half of their set talking like For Today did. Saw For Today several times and they played a MAX of 5 songs every time.
Jaramiah M. Trent well, I wouldn’t categorize an entire genre by one band. For Today decided to use their set time the way they saw fit, not every Christian metal band does it that way
Jacob Capra I’ve seen other Christian metal acts as well, Impending Doom, Demon Hunter, TDWP, Fit For A King, but For Today was more about spreading the word than actually playing their sets. They overstayed their welcome as a result imo.
