From First To Last have officially unveiled their first new music featuring recently recruited vocalist Lil Lotus, releasing the new single “Your Name In Red Ink.”
The track arrives alongside a lyric video and marks the first taste of a forthcoming EP from the veteran post-hardcore outfit. In addition to debuting their new lineup, the release also coincides with the band’s newly announced partnership with Fearless Records.
Lil Lotus, who joined From First To Last earlier this year, described the song as a blend of the elements that made the band influential in the first place while incorporating newer influences into the mix.
“We are excited to drop our first song off the EP and announce we are working with Fearless,” Lil Lotus said. “‘Your Name In Red Ink’ is a good blend of all the different stuff I love about FFTL — plus new and old screamo/emo. I am really excited to see how everyone receives it.”
The release signals a new era for From First To Last, whose legacy includes helping shape the modern post-hardcore and emo scenes. With a new vocalist, a new label home, and fresh material on the horizon, the band appears poised to begin its next chapter with a renewed creative direction.
