Justifications have officially released a music video for “Male Bonding,” their second single to date. The track features a guest appearance from Walls Of Jericho vocalist Candace Buckingham, bringing together two familiar names from the metallic hardcore scene.
The band is fronted by Guy Kozowyk, best known for his work with The Red Chord. Kozowyk also has a guest spot on Walls Of Jericho’s forthcoming album, ‘System Error: Humanity’.
“Male Bonding” will appear on Justifications’ upcoming debut album, ‘The Race To Expiration’, which is currently expected to arrive sometime in 2027 through Black Market Activities.
Kozowyk shared his thoughts on bringing Buckingham into the fold for the new track, praising her longstanding influence and presence within hardcore:
“Candace is the pioneer of forcing females to the front of hardcore. For decades she has brought unmatched vicious energy and showed that the girls can bring it just as hard as anybody. We were honored when she accepted our invitation to tear it up on a track about making noise with the boys!”
Recording duties for ‘The Race To Expiration’ were handled by Kevin Billingslea, whose credits include Lamb Of God and Cruel Hand. Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed) took care of the album’s mixing and mastering.
The record is also expected to feature additional special guests, although those appearances have yet to be announced.
