Maryland grindcore/powerviolence outfit Full Of Hell will be absent from several upcoming dates on the Cannibal Corpse North American tour, which kicked off on September 15th in Nashville, TN, with support from Municipal Waste and Fulci.
Shortly after arriving for the opening show, vocalist Dylan Walker received news that his father had passed away. While the band performed in Nashville, Walker shared he would be traveling home to be with his family for the time being.
Walker posted the following update on the band’s social media:
“Hey everybody, this is Dylan. A couple of hours after we arrived for our first show of tour I received the news that my dad had died. I’m going to travel home to be with my family in a few days, which means Full Of Hell will not be performing in Buffalo or Cleveland. I apologize if you were looking forward to seeing us. I’ve written about my dad a lot in this band. He spent his entire life suffering under a cloud of depression and nursed it with alcohol until he simply couldn’t live without it. In many ways, I’ve been grieving him for a very long time. Existence is pain, but existence is all we have. I was grateful to be able to get on stage with my brothers and sing about him in Nashville. As always, thank you for the support and understanding. Hug your dad. See you down the road x”
There is no official date yet for when Full Of Hell will rejoin the tour, but updates will be provided as they become available.
