Alternative metal outfit Islander have returned with a brand new single, “Dead Youth,” accompanied by an action-packed official music video featuring AEW star Darby Allin.
The track finds the former AEW World Champion stepping behind the microphone for a guest vocal appearance, further strengthening the crossover between the worlds of professional wrestling and heavy music.
Directed by Nathan Mowery and Tyler Horner, the video’s visuals lean heavily into Allin’s trademark daredevil persona. Among the stunts featured in the clip is a memorable coffin drop crowd surf, a nod to the high-risk style that has made Allin one of wrestling’s most recognizable performers.
This isn’t the first time Islander have crossed paths with the wrestling world. The band previously collaborated with WWE Hall Of Famer Sting, who famously served as both a mentor and tag team partner to Allin during the latter stages of his AEW career.
The release of “Dead Youth” arrives as Islander continue a busy touring schedule. The band are currently on the road and will launch their headlining “Dead Youth Tour” later this month in support of the new single.
