Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is set to take part in this weekend’s Pennzoil 400, having been named grand marshal for the annual NASCAR event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The race is scheduled for Sunday, March 15th, in Las Vegas, where Davis will deliver the traditional command for drivers to start their engines while also participating in promotional activities tied to the event.
Ahead of race weekend, a promotional video surfaced showing the nü-metal icon taking a lap around the track. The appearance doubles as cross-promotion, with the vehicle featured in the clip sporting branding for the upcoming Sick New World festival.
The timing aligns with Korn’s upcoming return to Las Vegas next month, where the band will co-headline Sick New World alongside System Of A Down. That festival is slated for April 25th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
