Korn frontman Jonathan Davis joined Japanese rock icon Yoshiki onstage at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California on July 16, 2026, for the first of two special “Violet Night” performances.
During the evening, Davis surprised attendees by taking the stage for a cinematic, symphonic rendition of Korn’s 1998 nu-metal classic “Freak On A Leash.” Fan-filmed footage from the performance has since surfaced online, showcasing the unique orchestral interpretation of one of the band’s signature songs.
Davis and Yoshiki have maintained a friendship for years, making the collaboration a fitting highlight of the evening’s festivities. The Korn vocalist is also expected to make an appearance during Yoshiki’s second “Violet Night” performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 17, 2026.
