Josey Scott, the ex-frontman of Saliva, says his band was hit by a major theft in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a trailer packed with “years worth of equipment” was stolen on April 28. The missing gear reportedly included guitars, drums, amps, merch, and other essentials needed for the road.
Scott shared the theft on social media and urged anyone who spots the trailer or the stolen gear to contact police. He also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help replace what was taken and keep the tour moving.
“Stolen van FULL of gear in Tulsa, OK! Please keep your eyes peeled for liscence plate 771-542K and any of the gear in the pics. If you see any of it, please don’t hesitate to call the Tulsa Police.
Years worth of equipment, just gone.”
Scott said the theft also wiped out personal items, including stage clothes, and explained that the loss affects the band’s ability to work and perform. The fundraiser is aimed at replacing stolen gear, securing a new trailer, and getting the band back on the road as soon as possible.
“Today, something devastating happened.
Our tour trailer was stolen — and with it, nearly everything needed to perform.
Inside that trailer was our band’s gear, equipment, merch, and essential items that make these shows possible. Years of work, investment, and livelihood — gone in an instant.
This isn’t just equipment…This is how we make a living. This is how we show up for fans every night.
Right now, we’re doing everything we can to recover what was taken — but the reality is we may need to replace a significant portion of it immediately just to keep the tour alive.
We’re asking for help from the fans, the rock community, and anyone who’s ever connected with the music.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
Replacing stolen gear
Securing a new trailer
Getting us back on the road ASAPWe sincerely need and appreciate your help,

Scott also shared a video with more details about the theft, noting that along with the instruments and stage gear, other personal belongings were also inside the trailer when it was taken.
