Slayer guitarist Kerry King will be hitting the road across North America in early 2025 for his first headlining tour with his eponymously named band. Joining him on this trek will be crossover veterans Municipal Waste and Māori groove metallers Alien Weaponry, kicking off on January 15th in San Francisco, CA. Pre-sales start tomorrow, October 2nd, at 10:00 AM local time (password: ‘RISE’), with general sales launching this Friday, October 4th, at 10:00 AM local.
In other news, King has premiered a new music video for his track “Where I Reign.” The clip, shot by Jim Louvau during King’s summer touring, complements his solo debut album, “From Hell I Rise,” released this past May.
In addition to King on guitar, his solo band features vocalist Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head), bassist Kyle Sanders (HELLYEAH, ex-bloodsimple), and drummer Paul Bostaph (ex-Slayer, etc.).
