Korn’s seventh studio album, See You On The Other Side, turns 20 this year, originally landing on December 6th, 2005. To mark the milestone, the band have rolled out an expanded anniversary edition—available now on both vinyl and digital platforms.
With the new digital release comes the first official streaming availability of the era’s b-side, “Last Legal Drug (Le Petit Mort)”, which has finally made its way to DSPs.
See You On The Other Side represented a major transitional moment for Korn. It was their first studio record without guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, who stepped away at the time to address addiction issues and pursue his faith. It also ended up being their final studio outing with longtime drummer David Silveria.
The album further marked Korn’s label shift from their longtime home at Epic/Immortal to Virgin Records. While reception from critics was mixed, the record still landed hard commercially—achieving gold status in January 2006 and going platinum just a few months later in March.

Cool seeing the anniversary edition come out.
Those mid-2000s albums weren’t really my era since Head wasn’t apart of the band, writing or recording for this album but it’s great for fans who grew up on them. Looking at Korn’s setlists, they usually only play two songs from the Head-less era (‘Coming Undone’ and
‘Twisted Transistor’), so if they bring more of that material back for this anniversary + possible tour, it’ll be interesting seeing Head’s take on songs he didn’t originally write.

It’s criminal that eaten up inside was never on the album or a single. It would’ve blown up
I got the deluxe edition of “See you on the other Side” and it had an additional CD with this track on it
JDs solo tour has this song on it.
It’s awesome with a violin. It’s kinda a slow version and it’s awesome.
And the DVD is great.
Eaten Up Inside was the superior B-side track imo. Just saying.
Fiore Troncone if we are being honest all 3 b sides were better than most of the album
Bruce Parson I actually enjoyed the album overall. Tbh I would’ve replaced Coming Undone with Eaten Up Inside because Coming Undone always bored me.
Fiore Troncone coming undone was a single cause it was catchy but Id have replaced 10 or a two way politics hypocrites and for no one with b side tracks. Syotos has some absolute gems though but I like all of the b side tracks better than those songs and I’m even talking about the other ones not just the 3 on the bonus CD with the deluxe album
Bruce Parson I actually liked For No One lol. The chorus melody and the bass line in the verses really stand out for me. I also dig the whole Broadway vibe of Hypocrites. I agree with 10 or a 2 way and Politics though. I will say though, as a whole, See You On The Other Side was prob one of the most expanded on albums they did in terms of the amount of b-sides and bonus tracks.
Fiore Troncone I think politics and hypocrites made it mainly cause they kind of talk shit about religion and if was pissed at head at the time. And for no ones chorus is good but man those lyrics in the versus are cringe. Jd kinda tryna act like a bad ass is the opposite of what we had always come to expect

Also, it is essentially “thoughtless”
Still absolutely love the songs. I remember the first time(months after) I happened upon the b-sides from the deluxe version of “SYOTOS” !
