Fans who missed Napalm Death’s appearance at this year’s Hellfest Open Air can now watch the band’s full professionally filmed performance online.
The grindcore pioneers took the stage at the annual festival in Clisson, France, on June 21, delivering a 20-song set despite dealing with illness within the band’s camp leading up to the performance.
The set featured a career-spanning selection of material, including classics like “Scum,” “You Suffer,” and “Suffer The Children,” alongside newer tracks such as “Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism” and “When All Is Said And Done.” Napalm Death also paid tribute to fellow punk and metal influences with covers of Slaughter’s “Incinerator” and Dead Kennedys’ “Nazi Punks Fuck Off.”
