No Cure are keeping a yearly tradition alive for Edge Day, releasing their take on Brotherhood’s 1989 track “Till Death” to mark the annual celebration of the straight edge lifestyle.
Taking place today, October 17, Edge Day brings together members of the straight edge community to recognize the lifestyle and its place within hardcore culture. For No Cure, the occasion has become an opportunity to pay tribute to influential bands from the genre’s history.
Last year, the rising metallic hardcore outfit marked the occasion with a cover of Until The End’s “Death Disguised As Salvation.” The band have now followed that release with their interpretation of Brotherhood’s “Till Death,” continuing their tradition of honoring straight edge hardcore through music.
The new cover also arrives alongside a merchandise drop, available through the band’s official merchandise store.
With this year’s release, No Cure are once again using Edge Day to spotlight a classic track from the straight edge hardcore scene while adding their own name to the tradition.
