          Ryan Israels Cristian Machado, actually NOT their original lead singer but the one you might be referring to that was with them the longest amount of time and was with them in their prime, left many years ago now and has formed a new band called Lions at the Gate you should check out if you haven’t.. he also had a solo album come out a few years back that is worth checking out.. the last lead singer from a band from Corpus Christi, TX you could have been familiar with called Shattered Sun (his name is Marcos Leal) left the band this past year and was supposed to be the featured lead vocalist on their latest album but we may possibly never hear that one.. 🤷‍♂️

          Ryan Israels now as to what happened in those instances? There’s likely a lot to peel back there but I don’t know all the details.. there just seems to be one common denominator in both and that’s the band’s leader and drummer, Dave Chavarri. Don’t ask me how.. all paths just seem to lead to him. I wish everyone well.. loved that band and still do..

          Mostly his band mates. He is always fired or leaving the band because of his piss poor additude. He plays the victim everytime also. Trapt has gone through it also. Their lead singer got fired for his out there public opinions on his politics that did not align with their fans or band.

      I saw them (PM5000) back when their debut album was actually doing well..
      They looked like someone just woke them up from a hangover coma, strapped their instruments to them, and kicked them out on stage. It was… not a good performance.. to be polite… I remember at the time leaning over to a friend and saying, “Their producer is pulling the weight.” He told me “His ‘Big brother’ got him a record contract.” 🤣
      I cannot imagine they would be worth the ticket price today unless they’ve been practicing for the last 20 years and experienced a few miracles along the way.

        They’ve been my favourite band for 20 years. But the live show these days, with no original band members is just a shell of what they used to be, and they can’t even pull full tracks together anymore. Once Trauma and Jackson left, that was pretty much it.

      Was at the Avalon in Boston. Powerman 5000 and a band called Reveille opened up for them. IDK if anyone remembers them but the lyrics to one of their songs lyrics called “Laced,” was “TAKE A LOOK AROUND, TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE,
      TAKE A LOOK AROUND, TELL ME WHAT YOU FIND, JUST AN EMPTY SEARCH,, FOR A FOREIGN KIND.
      Both bands were from Massachusetts or at least the lead singer of Powerman is from Haverhill MA
      Got caught lighting a joint right after Reveille. Got caught and tossed out. Had to wait an hr and a half for 3 people. And Reveille was Hahvid. 🤣🤣

          Michael Duane unfortunately, these are musicians who have just as much right to express themselves as you do, but just with a bigger platform. Therefore, of course they are going to use it. But with that larger platform, comes the understanding that you’re gonna catch some heat for your comments…so it’s kinda expected to have thicker skin than most. With that being said, I can’t really understand Chris’s behavior. If you witnessed much of it, then you’d question his mental well being more than his political views. It was a bit unhinged…as we see with a lot of the left.

          Michael Duane I can’t remember the exact conversation, but I was witnessing it and commented on his twitter during one of his meltdowns. He was attacking potential fans because they didn’t like their new album (which was not very good tbh), and I simply said something like he “probably shouldn’t be yelling at fans” and he responded to my comment calling me a “fucking idiot” or something like that. I don’t remember exactly since it’s been awhile, but here I was trying to help him save face and that’s how he responds? Erratic behavior like that is simply not a good look and I think he alienated a lot of people. But oh well. Nothing you can do about that now.

      Saw Hed (PE) and Ill Nino at Wally’s on Hampton Beach a few years back with Drowning Pool as the headliner.. Hed and Nino still slap (even without Nino’s OG band members). Drowning Pool was meh and didn’t play Bodies (for obvious reasons). But much like Trapt, Drowning Pool was to make Hed and Nino look better cause Trapt is Crapt…i mean crap.

Because the guys from LOCK9 set up literally EVERYTHING while the very short singer of trapt flounced around bitching and moaning about how nothing was going right and then during sound check the guitarist hucked his acoustic guitar across the stage because he was pissed that it wasn’t working. 🤣🤣 show started an hour and a half late, but it was kind of entertaining getting to see how immature and money hungry trapt is as a band, and getting to watch my ex’s band absolutely destroy it on stage. More people were there for LOCK9 and school of rock. Most left before trapt even played. 🤣

      I saw pm5k once. 12 people showed up. I was impressed because I’ve never had so few people show up to a show it felt like he was personally screaming at me. I’ll give them they still played like the place was packed

      I got told in jr high pm5000 was so last year he laughed at me like I was uncool…. That was probably 2000… that dude is now a homeless junkie…. So who’s laughing now?! 😂

      Fuck them. Him and his brother. I tried going to their concert a while back on one of their tours. They didn’t show up on time, the venue didnt open their gates until like 3 to 4 hours after the time but by then people were taken away by ambulance due to heat exhaustion. I spoke with venue staff and according to them the band requested them to not open gates until later, and it turned out PM5k didn’t even end up showing up, luckily after hr 3 I decided to leave. Never again. Oh and wasn’t even reimbursed.
