Richard Cipriano, the former bassist for Sick Of It All, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, with a fundraising campaign now underway to help support him.
Cipriano played with the influential New York hardcore band from 1986 to 1992. Support is now being organized through the nonprofit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which is accepting donations to help Cipriano during his cancer battle.
In addition to direct donations, fans can support the effort by purchasing a benefit T-shirt available through Revelation Records.
The news comes during a difficult period for the Sick Of It All family. Vocalist Lou Koller died in July 2026 following his own battle with cancer, leaving fans and the hardcore community mourning the loss of one of the genre’s most recognizable voices.
Those wishing to help Cipriano can contribute through the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund campaign or purchase the Sick Of It All benefit T-shirt through Revelation Records.
