Platinum-certified nü-metal/hard rock mainstays Saliva will hit the road later this month for a U.S. headlining tour that stretches into the fall. Support on the run will come from fellow alt-rockers Earshot, The Founder (the new project from Austin John Winkler, formerly of Hinder), and rising act LYLVC. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, August 06th at 10:00am local time.
Frontman Bobby Amaru shared his excitement about the upcoming trek, stating:
“I’m pumped to hit the road this fall with such a great lineup. Saliva with Earshot, The Founder featuring Austin John Winkler, and LYLVC. I’m a fan of all of these acts. I discovered Earshot back in the early 2000s and always thought they had a killer sound. Austin’s voice is one of the most unique in rock, and I’ve been a fan since his days of fronting Hinder.
I really like his new project! LYLVC is the perfect opener. I feel Alyse brings fire, focus, and passion to the stage. I dig touring with artists who are hungry and all about the music. No egos, just a shared love for the grind and the show. This fall, it’s all about raw energy and rock ‘n’ roll.”

Josh Moore dude, Bobby is a great singer but when I think saliva, I think Josey. Saliva with Bobby is nowhere near as popular. If Bobby started another band with a new name, they’d be below saliva. They’re only using the saliva name cause of the past popularity. New saliva songs don’t even sound like saliva. That’s just my opinion, and a lot of others. 🤷🏻
Justin Fischer the first four albums of saliva were gold.So I am with you on that. But bobby is doing better for saliva than josey, would be doing for saliva at this stage. Have you seen him live lately? Or heard any of the YouTube videos of him? He is awful. I think bobby is doing the right thing by not trying to sound like old school saliva. The music the new saliva is putting out, it’s really, really good.

Touring, playing, and writing under the “Saliva” umbrella – doesn’t make them Saliva. It just means they are capable of writing new songs that sound like they could have been written by the band they are posing as. Very – very good musicians flying around with the lowest aspirations possible – Being a tribute band.

Original Saliva frontman Josey Scott made it crystal clear: he’s done with the idea of rejoining the current lineup. In a blunt call-out to what he called the “Temu version”—a knockoff, bargain-bin version of the band—he said he’ll never give fans a watered-down imprint of what Saliva once was.
Scott praised some of the current band members, like Sebastian LaBar and Sammi Jo Bishop, but still drew the line: “He’s not SALIVA. He has never been SALIVA,” Scott said of current singer Bobby Amaru.
This isn’t just ego—it’s about identity. Scott claims he conceived the band’s name and built it from the ground up. His message is clear: if the legacy lives on under his name, he should remain at the helm.
Rock fans love a showdown. And this one’s got the real-deal guard up, with the original voice refusing to go quietly into the Saliva rebrand. The question now: who gets to carry the name—and what does “Saliva” even mean anymore?
