Transcontinental alternative metal outfit SAVE US have announced their debut album, Death To Something, which is set to arrive on October 16th via Solid State Records.
The album was produced by The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers, with the band now unveiling the record’s title track alongside an accompanying music video.
According to vocalist Miguel Owls, “Death To Something” came together late in the recording process and ultimately inspired the album’s title.
“‘Death To Something’ was the last song we wrote with Landon, and it ended up giving the record its name. Lyrically, it was inspired by my newborn son. The message is simple but powerful: Sometimes there has to be a death to your old life in order to build a better one for the people you love. On this track, I dive into the struggles and hardships of my past, and how I had to finally cut the ties that kept weighing me down. It’s raw, personal, and honestly one of the most meaningful songs I’ve ever written.”

The band will hit the road this fall supporting Saosin on the 20th anniversary tour for their self-titled debut album. Silent Planet and Like Moths To Flames will also appear nightly.
