While yesterday’s (July 05th) ‘Back To The Beginning’ live sendoff for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne marked the end of an era for the heavy metal legends, it also signaled a new beginning within the Osbourne family.
Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson proposed to Kelly Osbourne backstage during the all-star event in Birmingham, UK. The moment took place in front of Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne, and soon-to-be brother-in-law Jack Osbourne, with footage of the proposal quickly making its way online (seen below).
Ozzy Osbourne couldn’t help but chime in mid-proposal, shouting: “Fuck off, you’re not marrying my daughter.” The outburst was, of course, all in jest.
The couple have been together for several years and welcomed their son Sidney in November of 2022. The engagement adds another milestone to a major night of celebration and legacy for metal’s first family.
