Slipknot launched their 2025 touring cycle last night (02/26) with the opening date of Knotfest Australia in Melbourne. As a surprise for fans, the masked metal juggernauts delivered the live debut of “Gematria (The Killing Name)”, a deep cut from their platinum-certified 2008 album, All Hope Is Gone.
Fan-filmed footage of the performance has surfaced online (see below). Notably, percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan was absent from the show, reportedly due to a family emergency.
