THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA Announce New Album ‘Flowers’, Release Short Film Featuring New Songs

Metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada have revealed details for their ninth studio album, Flowers, due out November 14th through Solid State Records.

The band unveiled the news with a brand-new short film titled That Same Place Where The Flowers Never Grow, which weaves together their two freshly released tracks, “Where The Flowers Grow” and “Wave.” Directed by longtime collaborator Wyatt Clough (Silverstein, Beartooth), the short highlights the band’s continued commitment to blending cinematic visuals with their music. Notably, “Where The Flowers Grow” just received its live debut during their recent stop in São Paulo, Brazil.

Produced by the band’s own Jonathan Gering, the album also features engineering by Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Holding Absence) and mixing/mastering from Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox). Additional writing contributions came from Tyler Smyth (I Prevail), Austin Coupe (Moodring), Colin Brittain (Papa Roach), Bobby Lynge (Fit For A King), and Marshall Gallagher (Teenage Wrist).

Speaking on the single “Where The Flowers Grow,” guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster explained:

“The song is about realizing that no matter how good things look from the outside, there’s always a place of darkness in our minds. My hope is that people who hear it feel less alone in that struggle.”

On the new record as a whole, he added:

“Flowers is 20 years of our journey — the highs, the lows, and what it means to navigate life’s chaos. This is us at our peak, pushing our songwriting, lyricism, and honesty further than ever before.”
