Mongolian folk metal outfit The HU have unveiled a new music video for “Horsemen,” one of the standout tracks from their recently released album ‘Hun.’ Directed by Dashdondog Bayarmagnai, the video arrives as the band continues to celebrate the launch of the record, which was released on July 24.
Drawing inspiration from Mongolia’s storied military history, “Horsemen” pays tribute to the legendary warriors who once rode across much of the known world. The band shared the following about the track:
“‘Horsemen’ is inspired by the legendary Mongolian warriors who once rode across much of the known world. These warriors were known for their discipline, intelligence, courage, and incredible skill.”
“They were called the ‘Army of the Heavens’ because of their unmatched mobility and strength. This song celebrates their spirit and honors the qualities that made them legendary. It’s a reminder that true power comes from discipline, wisdom, and unity.”
The release of ‘Hun’ marks another milestone for The HU, whose blend of traditional Mongolian folk music, throat singing, and heavy metal has helped them become one of the most distinctive acts in modern heavy music.
North American fans will soon be able to catch the band on the road as part of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson’s ‘Freaks On Parade’ tour, alongside Orgy.
