VIMIC will reunite this fall for a special tribute show in honor of their late drummer and founding member JOEY JORDISON. The performance will take place October 03rd at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, CA.
Jordison, who passed away in 2021, was best known for his groundbreaking work in SLIPKNOT, but also played a pivotal role in forming VIMIC, whose long-shelved debut album Open Your Omen never saw an official release. That record had been plagued by delays, first following the tragic passing of co-producer Kato Khandwala, and later with the loss of Jordison himself. While four singles had surfaced, the full album was eventually shelved—until now.
The surviving members of VIMIC have launched a crowdfunding campaign to finally bring Open Your Omen to the world, and this live show marks their first step in celebrating that legacy.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Joey Jordison Charitable Fund, which is working alongside Broken Strings, a non-profit based in Jordison’s home state of Iowa. The mission? To provide drums to students in underserved school districts—continuing Jordison’s legacy of empowering the next generation of musicians.
Support on the night will come from Wednesday 13, Jordison’s former bandmate in MURDERDOLLS, with additional special guests yet to be announced.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 06th.
