It looks like Bad Wolves are preparing to unveil the next chapter of the band, with a new teaser pointing to a reveal on June 29th.
The multi-platinum alternative metal group has undergone significant changes in recent months following the departures of several members. In the wake of those exits, drummer John Boecklin has been spearheading a rebuild of the band.
Boecklin previously rejected a reported seven-figure offer from former vocalist Tommy Vext to acquire the rights to the band and instead opted to continue Bad Wolves with a revamped lineup.
Rumors have linked Sara “Killboy” Skinner to the role of lead vocalist, while Animals As Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes has also been speculated to be involved. The status of guitarist AJ Rebollo and bassist Kevin Creekman remains unclear, although Rebollo has appeared in studio photos shared by the group.
Boecklin has also stated publicly that Bad Wolves’ fifth studio album has been in the works throughout 2026, teasing that more information would be coming soon.
That time may now be approaching, as the band shared a cryptic post on June 22nd that appears to point toward a June 29th announcement.
Meanwhile, several former members have moved on to other projects. Former vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz has been performing with Falling In Reverse as part of the band’s touring lineup, while guitarist Doc Coyle has returned to God Forbid and has also been touring with Snot. Former guitarist Chris Cain and Tommy Vext are currently preparing to launch their new project, With A Vengeance.
For now, fans won’t have to wait long to find out exactly what Bad Wolves have planned.
