Misery Index are currently tracking their eighth studio album, which is planned for a 2027 release through Season of Mist. Vocalist Jason Netherton has begun recording vocals while Mark Klöppel and Darin Morris continue working on guitar parts, with drummer Adam Jarvis having already completed his contributions. The deathgrind veterans have at least 12 songs in contention for the new record and previously previewed the material with this summer’s “Feral Future.”
